Lost in the jungles of a long forgotten island as a youth, I was raised by a pack of velociraptors who only spoke in riddles. Legally a velociraptor myself (by adoption), I landed some pretty sweet scholarships when it came time for college.
I ended up going to Dominican University of California, a tiny little school just north of San Francisco. I studied literature and writing, graduated, and became a librarian of sorts as I continued into grad school. I wrote a lot.
Life was good, but adventure called, so I left the comfortable world of academia behind for the untamed jungles of Hollywood.
So here I am. Writer by night, International Program Planner by day, I may not sleep much but I’m having a blast.
By the way -- that other guy who comes up when you google Shaun Barger (the one who writes poetry of…debatable quality) is not this one, but another fellow who happens to have the same name. Either that, or he’s some sort of evil doppelganger. How sinister! |
